A few pics and a video from Frankie's first birthday. She actually barely ate any cake, and mostly just smashed it up and threw it everywhere. We bought a separate cake just for Frankie so that she could smash it up and we could still eat some cake.

Christian and Laura decorated the house. Christian really had a good time picking out the balloons and the decorations. It was a nice small party with pizza and cake. Her cousin Jamie and Laura's friend Katie came over for the festivities.

Frankie is now scooting all over the place. Not quite crawling yet, but, she's found a way to get around. She is at that spot now where we put her down on the floor and she ends up somewhere else before we even notice it.

It's especially nice to have this celebration in our new home. We've only been here about a month. It seems unreal that it was a whole year ago that I was videotaping her shortly after her birth. Everyone says it but it's true, the time really flies.

She weighs 16 pounds, 8 ounces, and is about 27 inches long. She's got two lower teeth and four uppers. She's eating lots of different finger foods and is still breastfeeding too. Laura found a great bottle just today that she seems to really like drinking from, so perhaps dad can feed her a little more now.

Well, it's been forever since we last updated the blog so here are a few photos shortly after our move to our new house. You can tell by the messes on the floor we are still in transition but the kids don't seem to mind.

Frankie is now about 16 pounds or so, and approaching her first birthday. She still isn't crawling and she can't go from laying down to sitting on her own. She is working on both of those, however. We were told that she needs physical therapy so while we figure out how to do that, and how to get it paid for, (insurance won't cover it) we are working with her ourselves. I think she is very close to crawling and will so every day.

We had a very good Easter. We went over to some friends and had a little Easter egg hunt. (Of course, I forgot the camera.) Christian picked up one of the eggs, shook it, didn't hear anything in the egg, and put it back. (I made him keep it and we later found out it had a rubber toy lizard in there.)

The move went well and we are enjoying our new house although we still have a few things to put away. Christian is taking to his new room and I think now he probably likes it better than his old room.

I'll start trying to be a shutterbug again now that we are getting settled-in.
